“My time at VOICE Charter School helped shape me to be who I am, by creating a foundation that helped me succeed in all aspects of life, especially academically.
I attended VOICE from kindergarten to eighth grade and throughout my journey at VOICE, the people to whom I give a lot of credit for my academic success at the time are all of my supportive teachers and staff. They encouraged me to keep trying even when things seemed difficult and helped me learn what perseverance means. While also helping me learn the value of being able to listen to others and advocate for myself.
These three skills would go on to help me beyond VOICE. Without these valuable lessons, I would not have applied to Questbridge and become a scholar, which would then lead me to where I am studying now at Boston University. I am grateful for my experience at VOICE.”
