Parents

If you ever want to know what is going on at VOICE Charter School, ask a parent.

Parents at voice are actively involved in both their children’s work and in supporting out community.  They serve on multiple task forces and advocate for the best possible education possible both within the community and in Albany.  VOICE parents successfully applied for and received a Parents as Art Partners grant two years in a row,  allowing our students’ families to attend a series of specially tailored Saturday workshops at the Noguchi Museum.Parents have also donated to our teachers's projects through donorschoose.org

Many of our parents volunteer at the school as Learning Leaders. They have put in hundreds of hours supporting our start up and having a direct impact in our classrooms, field trips, and performances.

Two of our parents also sit on the board of VOICE Charter School and actively participate in the governance of our school.
