VOICE Charter School is an institution located in Long Island City, Queens, combining rigorous academics with a unique performance based arts program. At VOICE daily instruction in choral singing complements and encourages creative and critical thought while improving academic performance. Opened to NYC Kindergarten and first-grade students in September 2008, VOICE currently serves grades K-4 for 2011-2012 across two sites located two blocks apart. Adding a full grade every school year, VOICE will eventually teach students in grades K-8.
